AI-assistant websites

Answers from your own pages, prices and policies, and a person on WhatsApp when unsure.

from Nu. 35,000 · ≈ US$ 420 4–6 weeks

02Overview

Sites that answer customers at 2 a.m.

Who it's for

  • Tour operators in Bhutan whose enquiries arrive from Europe and the US while Thimphu is asleep
  • Hotels, clinics and services that answer the same 20 questions on WhatsApp every day
  • Shops with a catalogue of over 100 items that customers cannot find on their own
Assistant Sample conversation
  1. Visitor: What is included in the 7-day Paro and Punakha tour?
  2. Assistant: From your "Western Bhutan, 7 days" page: a licensed guide, a driver, 3-star hotels and all meals. The SDF is listed separately. ↳ /tours/western-bhutan-7-days
  3. Visitor: Can I pay the deposit by card?
  4. Assistant: That isn't on your site yet, so I won't guess. Shall I pass this to the team on WhatsApp? I just need your name. Continue on WhatsApp

A tour operator in Thimphu gets an enquiry from Munich at 2 a.m. By the time the office opens, the traveller has emailed 3 other operators. An AI-assistant website answers the first questions while you sleep — what is included, how much the SDF is, whether the Druk Path trek is possible in March — and hands the conversation to your WhatsApp with a name and a date already collected.

What this looks like

A fast, plain website, then an assistant that sits on it. The assistant reads only your own pages, prices and policies. It does not search the internet and it does not know anything you have not written down. That is the point: it answers the way your best staff member would, from your material, and says so when it reaches the edge, then passes the person to you.

It does not book, it does not take money, it does not change anything. For a shop like oneclickshop it finds the product and quotes the price; the order still goes through the cart. For a service like drukdrive it explains the rates and the cancellation rule; the booking is still a form or a call.

Every month you get a log: what people asked, what it could not answer, and which page to add.

How we work

First we read your last month of WhatsApp enquiries and count the repeats. That list becomes the site’s content, rewritten so it is precise enough to quote. Then we build the site, connect the assistant to it and only it, and test it with 200 real questions, including the rude ones and the ones in Dzongkha.

Anything it gets wrong is either fixed on the page or turned into a refusal. We would rather it hands off too often than guesses once.

What it costs

From Nu. 35,000 for the site, the assistant, testing and the first month’s review, in 4 to 6 weeks. The AI provider’s usage is billed at cost, usually Nu. 800 to 3,000 a month, with no margin. Half to begin, half at launch, in Nu. by mBoB or bank transfer.

If you already have a site you like, we can add the assistant alone. Ask, and we will say whether the site is precise enough to be worth it.

03What you get

What you walk away with.

A fast website with an assistant that answers only from your pages, prices, policies and FAQs

A hand-off: when unsure, or when the customer wants a person, it collects a name and passes the chat to your WhatsApp or email

A monthly log of what people asked, what it could not answer and what to add to the site

Not included

  • Booking, payment or anything that changes data (the assistant answers; it does not act)
  • Answers from the wider internet or anything outside your own content
  • The AI provider's usage fees, billed at cost, typically Nu. 800–3,000 a month

04Process

How the work goes.

Typical timeline: 4–6 weeks. Every step is agreed in writing before it starts.

  1. 01

    Questions audit

We go through 2 to 4 weeks of your WhatsApp and email enquiries and list the questions that repeat. This decides what the site must contain. 1 week.

  2. 02

    Content and site

Pages, prices and policies written so a machine and a person can both read them, then the site itself, built fast and static. 2 weeks.

  3. 03

    Assistant and testing

We connect the assistant to your content only, write its rules, and put 200 real questions to it, including the awkward ones. Anything it gets wrong, we fix or make it refuse. 1–2 weeks.

  4. 04

    Launch and first month

Go live with the hand-off to your WhatsApp, then a 30-day review of every conversation and a list of what to add. 1 week, plus the review.

06FAQ

Questions people ask first.

01

What can the assistant actually answer, and what can it not?

It answers from your own pages, prices, policies and FAQs, and nothing else. Ask it about your Punakha itinerary and it quotes your page; ask it the weather in Punakha and it says it does not know and offers WhatsApp. It cannot take a booking, take a payment or change a date.

02

Will it make things up?

Less than you would fear, but not never. We limit it to your content, test it with 200 real questions before launch, and set it to say so when unsure rather than guess. You read the log each month. If it gets a price wrong, that is a page to fix, and we fix it.

03

Does it work in Dzongkha?

It can read and reply in Dzongkha, but the quality is well below English and depends on how much Dzongkha content your site has. We recommend English with a clear WhatsApp hand-off for Dzongkha speakers until the models catch up.

04

What does it cost to run each month?

The AI provider bills usage at cost, usually Nu. 800 to 3,000 a month for a tourism site and a few hundred more for a busy shop; we pass it through with no margin. Hosting is on our Hosting plan. There is no per-seat licence.
