Hosting is the part of a website nobody thinks about until it is down on the morning the tender closes. A cheap shared host abroad will take your US$ 3 a month and your site will run, until a plugin update breaks it and there is nobody to call in the same time zone. We host the sites we build and a few we did not, and we watch them.
What this looks like
Your site lives on a server in Singapore or Mumbai with Cloudflare in front of it, which is quick from Thimphu because Bhutan’s traffic leaves through India anyway. SSL is on. Backups run every night and are kept for 30 days. WordPress core, theme and plugins are updated monthly by us, on a staging copy first if the site is busy.
An uptime monitor checks every minute and messages us, not you. If something needs your decision, it arrives on WhatsApp during the working day, Bhutan Time.
When you leave, and you can leave at any time, you get a full copy of the site and the DNS records. Hosting is a service, not a lock.
How we work
Tell us the domain and, if we did not build the site, the login. We copy it to our server, test it on a temporary link and point the domain across, usually the same day. Then you stop thinking about it.
Once a year, 30 days before renewal, one invoice in Nu. That is the whole relationship, unless something breaks.

Prices are per year, in Nu., paid by mBoB or bank transfer. Email hosting is under Domains. Design and content changes are billed by the hour or under a monthly retainer, which we will suggest if you keep asking for them.

Choose a plan
Static, WordPress or WordPress plus, depending on what the site is. We tell you which one honestly, even if it is the cheapest. Same day.

Move in
We copy the site, test it on a temporary link, then point the domain. Sites we did not build get a check for outdated plugins first. Same day for a small site, 2–3 days for a shop.

Watch
Backups every night, uptime checks every minute, updates every month. You hear from us when something changes, not when something breaks. Ongoing.

Renew
One invoice a year, in Nu., 30 days before the date. If you leave, we hand over a full copy of the site and the DNS. Ongoing.

Questions people ask first.
01 Should the site be hosted in Bhutan or abroad?
Abroad, for most sites. Bhutan's international traffic exits through India, so a server in Mumbai or Singapore with Cloudflare in front is quick from Thimphu and everywhere else. If a regulator or a tender requires the data to stay in Bhutan, we can host at a data centre in Thimphu; it costs more and we quote it separately.
02 What happens if the site goes down at night?
The monitor pings us within a minute and we look. Most outages are a plugin update or a full disk and are fixed within the hour. If it needs you, we message on WhatsApp in the morning. Nightly backups mean the worst case is losing one day of edits.
03 Can you host a site someone else built?
Yes, if it is WordPress or a static site. We check it for outdated plugins and known malware before it moves; if it is already compromised, cleaning it is a separate job we will quote first.
04 How do we pay?
One invoice a year, in Nu., paid by mBoB or a BoB or BNB transfer. Clients abroad pay in US$ by card. Nothing is billed until the site is live on our server.
